Plantvision lecture on Nackademin's new course in OT security

Plantvision proud to announce its participation in Nackademin's new initiative for training courses in OT security. Nackademin, which recently received an extension of its accreditation from the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education, will launch a total of 18 new higher vocational education courses this fall, including one course on OT security.

The OT security course is specially designed to meet the growing demand for specialists who can protect critical infrastructure and cyber-physical systems from external threats. Magnus Rosendahl, Senior Advisor Cybersecurity, from Plantvision contribute as a lecturer and is looking forward to being part of this important educational initiative.

"The need for security is growing as more systems are connected to the network, which requires new procedures and technical solutions. Given the current security situation within NATO and the EU, as well as the introduction of the NIS2 directive, the need is even more apparent. We are delighted that Nackademin is now launching a course to meet this need," emphasizes Magnus Rosendahl, Senior Advisor Cybersecurity, Plantvision.

The increasing digitalization of critical infrastructures such as power grids, water supply and industrial processes has created a strong demand for qualified OT security experts. The course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to manage and protect these systems against cyber threats.
