Plantvision to be a lecturer in Nackademin's new OT safety course

Plantvision is proud to announce its participation in Nackademin's new investment in OT safety training. Nackademin, which recently received an increased confidence from the Swedish Higher Vocational Education Authority, will start a total of 18 new YH courses this fall, including one course on the subject of OT safety.

The OT Security course is specifically designed to meet the increasing demand for specialists who can protect critical infrastructures and cyber-physical systems from external threats. Magnus Rosendahl, Senior Advisor Cybersecurity, from Plantvision will contribute as a lecturer, and is looking forward to being part of this important training initiative.

"The need for security is growing as more systems are connected to the network, requiring new procedures and technical solutions. Given the current security situation within NATO and the EU, as well as the introduction of the NIS2 directive, the need is even more tangible. We are pleased that Nackademin is now starting a course to meet this need," emphasizes Magnus Rosendahl, Senior Advisor Cybersecurity, Plantvision.

The increasing digitalization of critical infrastructures such as power grids, water supply and industrial processes has created a strong demand for qualified OT security experts. The course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to manage and protect these systems against cyber threats.

Plantvision is looking forward to collaborating with Nackademin and contributing with its expertise in OT safety. Plantvision is confident that this course will fill a critical need in the industry and support the development of safe and sustainable systems.

"We at Nackademin are excited about our industry-oriented collaboration with Plantvision and look forward to benefiting from their expertise in OT security. Together, we are confident that we can meet the growing need for specialists who can manage and protect critical infrastructures and cyber-physical systems from external threats" says Ulrika Hargö, Head of Education Nackademin.
