Femina Scientia highlights women's health as a business-critical issue

More and more employers are focusing on women's health— Plantvision is now launching an internal network

Stockholm, April 16, 2026 – Women’s health is on its way to being established as a defined workplace issue. A global ISO standard is currently being developed to provide employers with guidance on addressing issues such as menopause and hormonal health in a more structured manner. Studies show that up to 47 percent of women feel that their work performance is affected by women’s health issues. Despite this, many workplaces today lack structured support.

Against this backdrop, the consulting firm Plantvision is launching Femina Scientia, a network designed to strengthen knowledge, dialogue, and engagement regarding women’s health within the organization.

“Women’s health is an issue that is rapidly gaining more Location, but many organizations still lack a clear path forward. With Femina Scientia, we want to take a concrete step and create a forum where these issues can take Location, with the goal of increasing knowledge and contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable workplace,” says Johanna Folkesson, CMO, Plantvision.

This initiative is part of a broader trend in which women’s health is increasingly viewed as a business-critical issue. Research shows that organizations that actively address these issues can reduce sick leave while simultaneously boosting both productivity and employee engagement.

As part of the network, Plantvision invites external speakers to share their expertise. On May 7, the first event on menopause will be held in collaboration with EsterCare and its co-founder, medical expert Helena Graflund Lagercrantz. EsterCare offers digital health solutions and specialized care in gynecology.

“It’s not just about well-being, but also about the conditions needed to perform sustainably over time. These are issues that more and more employers need to address,” says Michaela Stenaldi, Strategic Sales & Client Manager at Plantvision.
