New office creates opportunities for continued growth in Gothenburg

On the fifth floor of Läppstiftet, the consultancy Plantvision has just moved to higher ground in new premises. A landmark synonymous with colourful and innovative entrepreneurship. With a view of the river and close proximity to Nordstan, the newly renovated spaces in Lilla Bommen are a real invitation to more meetings and collaborations.

The need for more space became clear a year ago, when the team in Gothenburg grew with more employees and the needs changed after the pandemic. It was time for something new and bigger to grow into. The move to Läppstiftet was pretty much a given from the start, given its geographically central location. Plus, with its own restaurant and newly renovated shared coworking spaces on the ground floor.

The larger and newly renovated spaces create opportunities that did not exist before. Many employees are involved in larger project deliveries and work largely from the office and not just at the customer's site. This has a positive impact both on the community, culture, knowledge sharing and cohesion internally, but also for the client, who thus gains maximum experience and knowledge from the project delivery.

"Our new office creates the conditions to collaborate and meet even more. Regardless of where we sit, in the office or out at the customer, the office plays a major role in continuing to build a strong corporate culture and community, knowledge sharing, experience exchange and meeting." says Robert Velén, Consultant Manager Gothenburg.

The entire Plantvision range and business areas are represented in Gothenburg, but most employees work in the technical areas, for example, most of the developers for our own PlantPerformance software are based here. The largest customer assignments are in the energy, medtech and life science, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.

The automation consultancy group started in Gothenburg about five years ago and has today grown to several employees. The latest to form in Gothenburg is the Process Engineering team, which took on its first consultancy assignments two years ago and is now the largest group of consultants.

With a geographically strategic location, PlantVision has found a super location in Sweden's largest industrial city. The larger premises create opportunities for continued growth and more recruitment to meet the growing demand for specialist consultancy services.

"We see great potential in the region. We are already working with a number of exciting companies in everything from energy and Pharma to environmental technology companies, and the demand for our specialist consulting services is growing. Gothenburg has many of the major industrial sectors we work with as a whole, a lot of process industry but also Life Science, which is one of our largest business areas, is growing rapidly." Says Christian Johansson, Consultant Manager Gothenburg.

With the positive atmosphere, great company culture and demand for services, the need for recruitment going forward is bound to increase.

"We are growing and need more people, mainly process engineers, automation engineers and developers with an industrial background. But anyone with the right personality, background and experience who wants to be part of the journey and build an even bigger PlantVision in the Gothenburg region, we want to talk to. Now with our new spaces to meet and collaborate in, we are well positioned to grow and continue to be a Great Place to Work company for our employees in the future as well" concludes Robert.
