With a strong history in Life Science, together with a modern mix of innovation and established industry with large networks, Uppsala is one of Sweden's most important Life Science centers. A natural Location to continue to grow for the consulting company Plantvision.
We opened our office in Uppsala Business Park in 2013 and since then we have grown year by year, both in turnover and number of employees. All to meet the increased demand for Life Science consultants in the region.
"Weare delighted that our expertise and experience in Life Science is so much in demand. We have recruited several new colleagues during the spring and with that came the need for larger premises that will equip us for continued growth. The needs and expectations for offices are also a bit different than before the pandemic, so we needed to create some more comfortable spaces for new types of collaborations, creating a bit more of a 'home office feel'," says Sara Kyrkander, Team Leader in Uppsala.
The new premises are designed to reflect a more flexible way of working, with coworking spaces for meeting and collaborating, mixed with quiet spaces, conversation booths, comfy sofas and cosy loungers. There's also a slightly greater focus on relaxation and breaks, with fitness features in the form of yoga mats and exercise equipment.
"Uppsala Business Park is like a community with many companies established here in Life Science. We often organise breakfast lectures and activities together with other partners and actors around us, which is both appreciated and a good way to share and gather knowledge. So it was only natural that we would continue to grow here where we live today," says Sara.
Plantvision in Uppsala specializes in Life Science with a broad offering that covers everything from advisory consulting assistance, validation expertise, regulatory expertise and Quality Management to strategic business development linked to digitalization or transformation assignments.
"The breadth of our offer and the excellence of our employees is our strength, we can take on different sizes of customers and assignments because we always tailor the skills needed and that best suits the assignment, which makes us very flexible towards the customer," says Sara.
With larger and cosier premises that invite community, knowledge sharing and a place to meet, we now look forward to welcoming more new colleagues to the team in the autumn.
"We will increase our numbers, the need and demand is growing, mainly in validation and compliance.
